Roxanne Taylor – Senior Associate

Roxanne is an empathetic and diligent lawyer. She works with her clients to achieve practical and productive outcomes, and at all times ensures they are informed as to their options and entitlements.

Roxanne has experience in a range of family law matters.  She represents clients in financial matters, including property settlements, spousal maintenance applications, and child support disputes. She has been involved in complex financial litigation including the division of large asset pools and the setting aside of Binding Financial Agreements.

Roxanne represents clients in parenting matters, including contravention and enforcement of orders, as well as Intervention Order proceedings. Roxanne also has experience in high conflict parenting matters involving mental health issues, substance abuse and family violence.

Roxanne is responsive to each client’s individual needs. She recognises the emotional and challenging nature of separation and the financial strain it can cause. Roxanne is committed to providing a high level of care and compassion to her clients throughout the separation process.

Roxanne sits on the Victorian Women Lawyers Executive Committee in the Communications Portfolio and is a mentor in the Law Student Mentoring Program.  She previously sat on the Victorian Women Lawyers Diversity & Inclusion Committee.  Roxanne is passionate about increasing access to justice and is a volunteer lawyer at Fitzroy Legal Service.

Roxanne completed a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Arts at Monash University, graduating with Honours in Law. Roxanne is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and the Victorian Women Lawyers. Roxanne was a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards in the Rising Star category in 2022.
